Summerholiday Workshops at the Cobra Museum

In the Cobra’s Animal Alphabet workshop, letters are made using stencils. Every letter changes into an animal! We draw spiders, birds and snakes in, behind or on the letters. In this way we design a unique animal alphabet together.

Data workshop Cobras Animal Alphabet:

July 20,

August 3

August 10

August 17

Suitable for everyone from 6 years, children and (grand) parents!

In the paintings of Cobra artists you come across many colorful animals and fantasy creatures. The Cobra artists were interested in children’s drawings, but also in poetry and writing. You can see many examples of this at the Cobra Museum. In these Summer holiday workshops, the Cobra Museum invites children and parents to study animals and letters and to collaborate creatively. In the Cobra’s Animal Alphabet workshop, letters are made using stencils. Then the adventure can begin: you turn every letter into an animal! We draw spiders, birds and snakes in, behind or on the letters. In this way we design a unique animal alphabet together. The drawing is done with special Ecoline Brush pens in the striking colors of the Cobra artworks. By adding water you can achieve very nice effects with these pens.
