Open House!

The CoBrA art movement celebrates it’s 70 years of existence.

On 11 November, the Cobra Museum will open its doors for you. On this joyous day, admission and activities will both be free of charge!

From 11 o’clock in the morning, all our guests will be greeted with a festive welcome. There will be two big temporary exhibitions: An Unstoppable Force and the then just opened Cobra 70: A multi-headed snake. Many local talents will add a musical note to the festivities. Our curators will give various gallery tours, there are workshops and in our beloved Zen garden, designed by Tajiri, you can participate in the ‘Zen raking’ under the guidance of artist Stephanie Rhode. There will be an constant and enchanting puppet show for children by Ennadien Blink.

De open dag n.a.v. 70 jaar CoBrA is een feest voor jong

The Cobra Museum is not the only museum to celebrate the 70th birthday of the CoBrA movement. We do so together with the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, which has a large number of CoBrA works in its collection. In the context of 70 years of CoBrA, a large retrospective of Corneille is on show there.
