PHANOS IS SPONSOR OF COBRA MUSEUM
Phanos, the property development company based in Houten, is the new sponsor for the Cobra Museum of Modern Art Amstelveen. During a formal reception (with celebratory overtones), Mr G. Ensing, the company's chairman of the board, in the presence of his wife Mrs H. Ensing-Komduur, signed the sponsorship contract at the museum on 14 March 2006. Cees van Tilburg, chairman of the museum board, and John Vrieze, director, added their signatures on behalf of the Cobra Museum.
Phanos will lend its name and special reputation as a developer and financier of prestigious projects to the large exhibition space on the first floor of the Cobra Museum for a period of five years. From 14 March 2006, the space will be named the Phanos Gallery in acknowledgement of the major support the museum will receive from the company in the coming years.
As a versatile property developer and financier, Phanos is extremely active and successful in both the Netherlands and other countries within the European Community. The company distinguishes itself by its high-quality, lasting products as well as having a good eye for the environment and purchaser's requirements. Based on such a track record, it is envisaged that Phanos's sponsoring will make a stimulating contribution to Amstelveen's Cobra Museum.
