Karel Appel BG will launch a new activity programme in September, 2011
The concept, organisation and realisation of this series of educational art projects is by Wildervanck in Kunst.

The Karel Appel House officially launched a new educational project on March, 31st, 2011. “Karel Appel BG” is situated on the ground floor (or 'begane grond', in Dutch) of the Karel Appel House. Beginning in September 2011, and for 11 months of the year, it will be the home of many educational art activities provided for the residents of the Dapper neighbourhoud: schools, daycares, after-school programmes, local organisations and small businesspeople, among others.

The educational art activities will be provided in close collaboration with the Cobra Museum for Modern Art.
There will be a diverse selection of educational art activities which will be based on Karel Appel's free and experimental approach, his history in the neighbourhood, the principals of the Cobra Movement, as well as the points of view and working methods of contemporary artists.
Karel Appel BG is supported by the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts
